In May the Spanish animation will join the big party of world cinema. Five animated feature films, including ‘Memoirs of a Man in Pajamas’ – co-produced by Moonbite, Dream Team Concept, Lady bug and Hampa Studio – will be screened for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival. From Insomne, where we are doing the layouts and part of the animation of the film, we celebrate that this project begins to reap some fruits, even before it is finished.
Goes to Cannes is the name of this showcase to be held on May 19. The selection of feature films, as every year, has been in charge of the organization of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, an event that since 1960 brings together the main exponents of animated cinema.
Directed by Carlos Fernández de Vigo and inspired by the comic of the renowned author Paco Roca; ‘Memories of a man in pajamas’ tells the adventures and misfortunes of an inmate’s late forties who in the fullness of his life gets his childhood dream: work from home and in pajamas. The actors Raúl Arévalo and María Castro are in charge of giving voice to the protagonists of this animated film of love and humor.
Look out for everyone, because the best is yet to come!
